We are open 7 days a week 9am until dusk and book flights every hour on the hour. Closing time depends on the weather and ticket sales for each day as well as seasonal availability. When you’re ready to fly, call us as early as possible. We typically start in April and run until mid September depending on the weather.
Something comfortable and weather appropriate for the season. It’s up to you if you’d like to get a little wet or stay completely dry. Hats may come off while in the air, but sunglasses are usually ok.
Absolutely! Our deckhand may be able to take photos of you with your phone while on board. We also offer a a GoPro Video package on a selfie stick available for you to take up in the air with you. This package is available with your booking or at the ticket kiosk.
You can bring a small bag with you on the boat. All bags should stay dry but we cannot guarantee they will not get wet so please think about the items you bring with you.
Parasailing flights themselves are up to 10 minutes. The entire trip depends on how many people are on the boat. Usually this is between 30-60 minutes. This includes the boat ride, the flight and the return boat ride back to the dock. Please ensure you arrive at the kiosk 30 minutes before your scheduled flight.
Viewers are allowed onboard the boat on a first come first serve basis if there is space available at the time of your flight. We can’t guarantee viewers at time of booking but we can allow last minute if the boat is not full. If you have a friend or family member that you would like to accompany you onboard the boat, we do charge a fee for viewers to cover fuel costs.
Just like others in the service industry, the crew works very hard to make sure all your needs onboard the boat are taken care of. If you had a good time, the crew always appreciates a tip!
A little sprinkle and we stay out, but high or gusty winds make parasailing unsafe. The Captain decides if we are going on stand-by or if we close down for the day. If you weren’t able to fly then you can either be refunded or rescheduled for another time/day. If you are unsure about the weather conditions, please give us a call the day of your flight and we can confirm whether we are operating or not. That said, weather conditions may change abruptly and the possibility always exists that we may need to suspend operations on short notice if the weather takes a turn – safety always comes first.
Any cancellations requested before 48 hours prior to trip departure will receive a full refund. No cancellations within the 48 hour period. Rebooking’s requested within the 48 hour period may be subject to extra fees. All cancellations due to poor weather conditions will be rescheduled or receive a full refund.
We have 3 different parasailing options. You can parasail – Solo (1 person), Tandem (2 people) or Triple (3 people).
Each parasail flight is approximately 8-10 minutes. You will spend around 30-60 minutes out on the lake all depending on how many other guests are also parasailing 😊
We can parasail from ages 4 and up. That’s right, you’re never too old to parasail!
A minimum weight of 150lbs and a maximum of 500lbs is required to safely parasail. Because we can parasail up to 3 people at one time, the overall weight will be determined on your choice of whether you parasail with 1 (solo), 2 (tandem) or 3 (triple) people.
You can stay completely dry, ONLY if you wish that is. Part of the REAL excitement of parasailing is asking the captain to dunk you in the water! Even if you can’t swim, with your provided life jacket on, being dunked in the lake is 100% safe but 1000% fun!!!! 😊
Depending on weather conditions you’ll fly like a bird and can reach heights of up to 300 feet! It’s an AMAZING view up there! However, if you’d like to fly lower just ask your parasail boat captain and they will be only happy to accommodate.
As long as you hold onto it very tight, then yes you can! For peace of mind, we do offer affordable photo and GoPro video packages you can enquire about and pay for at our location during check-in.
